Description
So, after many years of hoarding and collecting, I have decided to join Ebay and get rid of a few. This is from my collection of rare records, which I will be selling over the course of the next few months. It spans many years, and numerous genres of music. There will be many LP's and 7" singles...and maybe a few 12" singles.

This is actually a piece of history, as this was picked up to be the very first Tamla Motown release in the USA, way back in January 1959.
Here we have the original UK release, and it is a 1-sided demonstration record...issued before the commercial version to radio stations and the such-like. The catalogue number that was eventually given to this is stamped on the bottom of the label 'HLT 8856', whilst a pressing number MSI 3432 is printed on the label. The edge of the label is milled, and the flipside of the record contains 'white' noise with no actual track on it. The deadwax has 45-MSI-3432-IC stamped into it. The vinyl itself has some very light surface marks, and is generally in excellent condition
As well as being a piece of history, this is possibly also very unique. Demo discs from that era were pressed in really small amounts, and after extensive research I have not been able to find another one that has ever been put up for sale. This may be the only one left, for a record that it 56 years old.
