Jacket is G+ : Jacket has light ringwear, minor discoloration from age on back cover. Along edges (particularly on back) there is a slight shadow of discoloration, perhaps from tape since removed. ALL SEEMS ARE SPLIT with the exception of about 3 inches of top near left corner.
Please note, I grade conservatively and by the Goldmine standard, here is what you can expect...
For the G+ vinyl - A record in Good or Good Plus will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear.
For the G+ Jacket - A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear, or other defects will be present.
***WITH ALL THIS SAID if you have a Crosley or other budget turntable that comes in a suitcase, there is a chance with this, and every record really, that the tone arm, being the weak little thing it is, might bounce off, this is not a sign of a deficient record, this is an issue with the turntable. If you encounter this problem a penny taped to the top of the head of your tone arm generally fixes that right up.***
This series of records is obviously insanely cool to add to your collection but also very fun to actually read along with! If you don't want to dirty up the pages of your original comics you can also have these read to you while you follow along in a reprint such as a Marvel Masterworks or Omnibus collection. I've tried the latter and it fits just right, however the booming TURN THE PAGE narration will be off every other page.
