Description
For sale here is the unbelievably rare Marvelettes 45 - Locking Up My Heart backed with Forever. Issued on Oriole CBA 1817 in 1963 - this is without doubt ONE OF THE RAREST MOTOWN singles ever released. Record Collector 2004 lists this as a £300 rarity - but that does not even come close to reflecting just how rare and scare this single is. A very rare opportunity.
The condition is VG+ - the record has a marbling effect on the vinyl which could have been caused by the sleeve or possibly by cleaning. However the record plays superbly as a full Excellent - no hiss and no crackle. This is a really great tune - a lost Motown classic. The labels are excellent - please see the picture.
