ALBUM TITLE: Playboy

LABEL & CATALOG # Tamla TM 231

PRESSING INFO: 1st pressing-1962. Tamla changed the label color from white, to yellow same year as this release. Check out the other auctions for this album, and you'll find the white label pops up on ebay more often than this yellow label!!

ALBUM COVER:VG++

Front~ A very clean front cover. No visible ringwear. Cover sports a sticker advertising the song Beechwood 4-5789 song (see pic). At the bottom of the cover, by the "playboy's" feet are 2 small white spots (see pic).

Back~ Back cover has faded evenly throughout the years and displays quite nicely. No ringwear.

Spine~ Beautiful spine, without cracking or spliting.

Seams~ Both seams have held up nicely, although showing light signs of wear on their respective ends.

Corners~The top 2 corners have frayed slightly, the 2 bottom corners, have small bumps, with the bottom right more pronouced (see pic).

Inside (if bi-fold)~ No

Inserts~ None

Comments All album covers are inspected very closely. You can rest assured there will be NO surprises when you receive your album.

 

 VINYL:

Visual Grade~ NM- * A couple of very light visual scracthes, some very, very light paper scuffing.

Play Grade~ NM- *A fantasic group and a great listening experience. Vinyl plays as new!! 

Labels~ NM * No spindle marks. Both labels show bright color and are clean!

Record Sleeve~ White (faded) paper sleeve.

Comments~ All vinyl is cleaned with a Nitty Gritty record cleaning system.

Shipping Info: All albums are packaged with record and cover separated by a cardboard insert. Bubble wrapped together and package in a new record mailer.
