Vinyl VG+ (strong) – Clean, glossy surfaces with only light paper scuffs and a few faint hairlines visible under strong light. Play-tested both sides straight through: no skips and virtually NO surface noise, even in quiet passages and between tracks. Only an occasional isolated tick. Outer Sleeve VG+ – Ernie Barnes “Sugar Shack” artwork still rich and vibrant. Light ring wear, mild edge and corner rubs, a few tiny spine wrinkles, but no seam splits, stickers, or writing. Inner Sleeve Original inner + new poly-lined inner – Original inner has two short seam splits from the record; kept for originality. - Virtually no surface noise, even during quiet intros, fades, and spaces between songs — just the occasional isolated tick.
- Lays flat on the platter and spins true.
- If you listen to my short phone-recorded audio sample: any rumble or hiss you hear is from the phone mic, not from the record. The record itself plays clean and quiet.
Graded conservatively to avoid disappointment — many collectors would call this EX.
