Description
The is an original worn Marvin Gaye tour jacket from his European Tour in 1980.
Obtained directly from Marvin’s UK security manager, the jacket was owned and worn by Marvin Gaye’s legal advisor / manager, Curtis Shaw. The name Curtis is embroidered onto the chest of the jacket.
The jacket is blue with the usual tour detailing from that era embroidered onto the back of the jacket.
From the security who provided the jacket, ‘Marvin never wore a tour jacket’. So this one which we have for sale is as good as it gets for the Marvin Gaye memorabilia collectors!
The condition is very good, with some age related discolouration to the inner lining, which is as to be expected for an item of clothing of this age.
This isn't a 1 of 100, and 1 or 50... it's literally a one-off. You simply will not find another!!
