Remastered popular works by Japan's leading super guitarist Takanaka Masayoshi.
Alex Wharton at London's Abbey Road Studios remastered and cut the high-resolution sound source from the original master tapes of the popular albums "BRASILIAN SKIES" and "JOLLY JIVE" and his early best album "ALL OF ME". He is one of Abbey Road's leading engineers, having worked on mastering for Paul McCartney & Wings, The Chemical Brothers, and others.
Limited first press, 180g heavyweight vinyl. "BRASILIAN SKIES": Clear Sky Blue, JOLLY JIVE: Clear Lime Yellow, ALL OF ME: Clear Light Green. Each will be released on colored vinyl that expands the image of the jacket artwork.
●BRASILIAN SKIES (original release date: July 21, 1978): 180g heavyweight vinyl, clear sky blue vinyl
A 1978 work that shows the influence of Latin music and free thinking. It was produced across studios in L.A., Rio de Janeiro and Izu. It includes songs recorded with Brazilian musicians and a samba arrangement of Star Wars. You can also listen to the fan-popular "Disco B". Ryuichi Sakamoto also participates on keyboards and strings ensemble.
