About This Items
Popular works by Masayoshi Takanaka, one of Japan’s most renowned super guitarists, have been newly remastered.
Using high-resolution audio sourced from the original master tapes of the highly popular albums “T-WAVE,” “alone,” and “The Rainbow Goblins (Nijiden Setsu)”, the remastering and cutting were carried out at Abbey Road Studios in London.
“T-WAVE” and “alone” were remastered and cut by Alex Wharton.
Meanwhile, the hugely acclaimed “The Rainbow Goblins” was remastered and cut using high-quality half-speed mastering by Miles Showell, also at Abbey Road Studios. He is a legendary mastering engineer known for his work with The Beatles, Queen, Eric Clapton, and The Rolling Stones.
This release is Takanaka’s seventh original album.
It is a concept album inspired by the picture book “The Rainbow Goblins” by Italian artist Ul de Rico (Japanese title: Nijiden Setsu).
