Description

Superb copy of this seminal 1991 album, which saw the birth of trip hop and the first real flourishing of the iconic 90s Bristol Scene. Outer and inner sleeves and disc itself all in excellent condition. Extremely light shelf wear on outer sleeve, spot varnish clear and unscuffed. Minimal spindle wear on disc, no scratches or significant marks. Inner sleeve crisp and bright - no creases, minimal ring wear, tiny bumps at corners. A very clean and tidy copy. 
At the outset of their recording career, Massive Attack very briefly changed their name to Massive, to distance themselves from the Gulf War and invasion of Iraq, which took place just prior to the album's first release in April 1991. This very rare original pressing shows the evidence of the change, with the group's temporary name on the disc labelling.
