Massive Attack - Heligoland
Monster rare first vinyl edition, presented in a beautiful glitter-encrusted sleeve across 2 LPs with a bonus 12" featuring 4 exclusive remixes. A CD of the album is housed in a semi-transparant sleeve internally, and the set also includes an artbook in perfect condition and even the original sticker that was on the shrinkwrap.
The LPs were listened to once on purchase in 2008 and have been stored since. Given how fresh they are, I'm not going to do a play-test or present clips, I am 100% certain they are mint condition and sound great. The only thing I will say is that due to the solid black of the labels and the generally minimalist presentation, there are probably a couple of light fingerprint marks on the labels themselves from handling.
The sleeve is equally perfect, having been put in a PVC sleeve on purchase and kept in it since. The corners are all solid and there is no defects anywhere. The only detail I have to mention is a light dot of PVC glue on the area where the CD sits - this is a manufacturing defect, probably from the glitter application process, and cannot be considered a true defect.
