Description

Massive Attack - Mezzanine

Very rare original vinyl edition of Massive Attack´s masterpiece from 1998 on Circa/Virgin.

Vinyl: ex- (a few surface marks)
Sleeve: ex- (no splits or dents but about 1inch = 2,5cm of sticky tape residue at the bottom seam)

Please note that this is NOT one of the cheap counterfeit/bootlegs that some frauds are currently selling!!!

You can spot the right from wrong easily. Only if all of the following four facts apply, you have the original LP:

1) The original LP has a stamped (not etched) run out groove matrix on all four sides:
Side A: WBRLP 4 A-1-1-
Side B: WBRLP 4 B-1-1-
Side C: WBRLP 4 C-1-1-
Side D: WBRLP 4 D-1-1-
2) The orignal LP has orange labels with text around about one quarter of the rims of all four labels.
3) The original LP includes two printed inner sleeves (see pic).
4) The cover of the original LP shows the full cover image. The counterfeits show a cropped image, that you can tell when you check the lower tentacle of the insect on the right of the sleeve. It is significantly cropped.
