Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: Massive Attack – Protection – RARE Original UK Vinyl LP album from 1994.
Original UK Pressing from 1994.
Vinyl Condition: G/VG (The record has light sleeve marks, light hairlines and light scratches visible, mostly from the card inner sleeve. This is very common with this LP and it is virtually impossible to find one without any marks. There is a light scratch line on the first track on side 2 but is light and plays fine. The record is in good overall shape though and plays very well. There is some surface crackle and some clicks and pops in placed but no sticks or jumps. Classic and superb album and nice to hear on the original vinyl).
Inner Sleeve Condition: VG/EX
Outer Sleeve Condition: VG (Some minor shelf wear but is in good shape).
I grade my records as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
