Description

This auction is for a rare original US pressing of Material Issues' classic "International Pop Overthrow" LP released in 1991 via Polygram and Mercury Records. UPC is 042284815512. This is a rare promotional copy of the record which is evident from the stamp on the back of the jacket (visible in photograph 3). Record is in VG+ condition! Very rare and hard to find in this nice of shape. Fresh and glossy still with clean center labels. Only some minor signs of wear and use. The jacket is a little worse for the wear. Some damage from a light spill, seams are alright with some signs of wear and the corners all have some wear. Overall the jacket is in G+ shape. Overall the package is in VG- shape. The record really shows no signs of the wear and abuse the jacket has been through. It sounds great with minimal noise that is only present at the quietest passages.

Please see photos or ask questions before bidding! Thanks!

Goldmine Grading System:

SS Still Sealed
M Mint - Perfect in all ways.
M- Mint Minus - Near perfect, most likely and unplayed record
VG+ Very Good Plus - Very close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect playability. Only records stored and used with care will grade out to VG+.
VG Very Good - A used, reasonable copy that plays. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of some light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still nice and playable.
VG- Very Good Minus - A record with significant wear and marks. Records graded VG-usually have some noticeable surface noise.
G+ Good Plus. 'Good' means pretty beat up. From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about extremely beat up records.
