Description
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This fascinating and extremely rare limited-edition 45 rpm 12" EP from Coup d'Archet in association with the Institut National de l'Audiovisuel (INA) (L'Archet d'Or Series, OSRP 01, disc pressed in Germany / jacket printed in the UK mono) features two magical performances by the great cellist Maurice Maréchal, accompanied by pianist Odette Pigault, recorded in Paris on 17 June 1958.

This particular pressing consisted of 250 copies, of which this Number 75. The jacket states the following technical details:
> Analogue mastering onto lacquer by Abbey Road Studios
> 45rpm record manufactured by Pallas GmbH German
> Recording first published 2005
> [Sleeve] Printed in England by Silverscreen Nottingham

The album consists of a nice textured paper outer sleeve and then a second generic inner sleeve.

CONDITION:
The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.
The condition of the jacket is near-MINT. Really, there are no flaws to speak of and the album appears virtually as new – overall, a superb collector's copy.
The condition of the LP is near-MINT and playback is superb – overall, a truly fine collector's copy.
