You are bidding on a rare, original, LP, record album from 1961 by Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs, "STAY", on the Herald record label, #HLP 1014.

Herald HLP-1014 (M) Jacket condition: VG+ Record condition: VG++

The cover is in nice condition with no ring wear and some minor seam and corner wear. The top seam is split and neatly taped and eam is split and neatly taped for about 5 inches from the opening. There is also a worn collection number on the bottom left corner of the front. The labels are in excellent condition with a few faint spindle marks, center hole is round and without wear. The vinyl is a deep groove pressing and is bright and glossy with a few light scratches. It plays great with just a few light ticks.

Grading: I have played the album to verify the quality of a pressing and the grade.  All my albums are always play graded.

I use Goldmine standards; but please read the notes above as I try to note anything as well as capture actual condition in my photos. I am conservative and grade as though I were buying the record and hope my feedback speaks well for my grading. I package items carefully with additional cardboard pads for added protection. I always mail in a poly sleeve with the record outside the jacket. If there's an original inner sleeve I also remove the record from that and put it in a plain sleeve for mailing. That way, there are no seam splits on either the jacket or the sleeve due to any handling in the mail.

Grading Scale:

M  Mint - usually reserved for sealed records.

NM Near Mint with only one or two insignificant defects.

VG++ ((or NM-) Ex for EBAY) Extremely nice, would be NM except for a few light hairline scratches or scuffs which do not affect play.

I do not list anything less than VG++.
