Original OZ Promo 45" released in 1966 on Parlophone Records. Cat: A8227. Comes with original Parlophone printed paper sleeve. The statements quoted above are just two among countless expressions of praise for Max, evidence of the high and enduring regard for the man who is without doubt one of the finest soul-rock performers ever to emerge from the Antipodes. Max is one of the pioneers of Australasian rock, and one of its most enduring and best-loved figures. His amazing career, which has spanned an extraordinary 45 years covers the entire history of Antipodean rock & roll, and he is the senior figure among the remarkable group of performers who began their careers in Christchurch, New Zealand in the early 60s a talent-packed scene that also produced Ray Columbus & The Invaders, Dinah Lee and Dave Miller & The Byrds.Tracks: Fannie Mae/ Baby, come home.
Record has some light scuff marks and very light scratches that cause some light crackles and is in VG+ condition.
