Description
Blue label with silver text and logo, deep groove. Slight silver, partial ring around the edge of the label. Blue text and blue photos on the back cover, original issue. 7 tracks. Clifford Brown, trumpet; Max Roach, drums; George Morrow, bass; Harold Land, tendor sax; Richie Powell, piano.
Cover: Good(-) Top and bottom edges have completely split. Name of thestore that originally sold the record is stamped on the back cover. A name is written in script over the notes on the back cover. Moderate to heavy aging on the back cover. Light aging on the front cover.
Record: VG+ Visually shows light wear with several light surface rub marks on both sides. 1 or 2 of these marks are more visible. Faint cloudiness on Side B. This condition is typical of early EmArcy issues. There are a few clicks on Track 2, Side A. This noise is barely audible. A similar few light clicks on Track 2, Side A are even less audible. There are repeting light clicks through Track 3, Side B which continue through the first 3 or 4 revolutions on Track 4, Side B. In spite of the noise described on Side B, there is no visible scratch. Most of the record has no noise and plays with excellent sound. I have detailed the noise, however, most of the record plays with no noise. Audibly checked.
