NEW SOUNDS - MAX ROACH, JAMES MOODY, KENNY DORHAM, ART BLAKEY, Blue Note LP 5010, 10 inch LP.
This rare release features 6 tracks recorded 1947-1949. There are 3 tracks by Max Roach, 1 by James Moody, and 2 by Art Blakey. The musicians are Kenny Dorham (trumpet), Howard Bowe (trombone), Sahib Shihab (alto sax), James Moody, Orlando Wright (tenor sax), Ernest Thompson (baritone sax), Al Haig, Art Simmons, Walter Bishop Jr (piano), Tommy Potter, Buddy Banks, Laverne Barker (bass), Max Roach, Clarence Terry, Art Blakey (drums).
The tunes are Prince Albert, Maximum, The Thin Man, Tomorrow, Just Moody, Bop Alley.

E = Excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect. Shiny surface, no groove wear.
V = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
