Description
This scarce album was purchased new in the early 60s. The disc is in excellent condition with very few hairline surface marks. It plays perfectly without jumps, with a mere handful of faint clicks throughout. The part laminated thick card outer sleeve is sound, without splits, tears or creases. Clear tape at the edges of the slot has resulted in some staining, which is particularly evident on the unlaminated back surface. A few finger marks also on the back.

As Long As You`re Living is one of my favourite tracks, a fast blues in 5/4, with beautiful solos by the frontline, especially Tommy T., the whole ensemble driven along by Boswell`s bass. Whatever became of him? On the evidence here he should feature on more recordings. Someone performing under a pseudonym perhaps?
