Description

Cool copy LP by Maxwell Davis and his Tenor Sax on Aladdin Records. Maxwell Davis is considered by many to be the father of R&B. Using and 100 watt bulb to grade by, this original vinyl from 1956 is quite lovely, great sheen, and grades at near mint 8 and 8/9.  This is the original deep-groove labels. The labels are beautiful also. The fidelity is clear and crisp throughout, but, of course, Aladdin Records used inexpensive vinyl so there is surface noise. The cover is quite nice. There are no seam or spine splits, but there is seam flaking, the spine is  really nice; there is corner fraying and while the back cover is a nice white, there is some residue from a price tag removed in the upper left hand cover, and it is a little dirty. I grade the cover at least a strong VG+. Questions?? Please email me.
