McCULLY WORKSHOP INC, 10" ACETATE PROMO '70, 4 SONGS 45rpm, S.AFRICA, FREAKBEAT, includes rare record company letter !! (see picture #8 showing recent sale of 2nd album by this group $1600...the tunes on this here auction record are from the group's 1st album)
VINYL Side 1 = (visually graded as VG+, test played as EX) = songs play clear and loud and crisp, not muffled and NO skips, few scattered light clicks/pops, the scuffs and sleeve marks seem to be superficial and not audible, probably not played much ?
Side 2 = VG+, same as side 1
*obviously a very very rare relic from long ago, from the highly sought after album McCULLY WORKSHOP INC, 1970, the record plays as EX, but visually VG+ and may LOOK better after a proper cleaning but I don't want to mess around with this because of the notoriously delicate lacquer surface, I just wiped the dust and fingrerprints off before test play, there are ageing smudges on both sides, that appear to require some harder rubbing for removal, but I'm concerned to try that ** I'm not sure if these song versions are the same versions from the rare album, but the titles are the same ? *** no label on side 2 **** includes record company letter (see picture #7), which was found unfolded inside the paper sleeve with the record.

Grading Scale
Sealed Jacket sealed in shrink wrap; disc sold ungraded or "as is". Notes will be made if wrap is partially torn, but record will still not be removable from sleeve or jacket. NM or M Appears unplayed and will bear no marks, sleeve scuffs, or scratches. EX used if vinyl is between NM and VG++VG++ May have one or two visible imperfections (i.e. sleeve scuffs, faint scratches, or other superficial marks) that will not affect play. VG+ A few visible imperfections. These may include sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other superficial marks. VG Same imperfections found on VG+ records but in greater numbers. Records graded VG and above will typically not have any scratches that are deep enough to be felt with a fingertip touch. VG- A number of visible imperfections; the presence of a considerable number of light scratches will force a VG- grade, as will the presence of significant isolated defects such as scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingertip touch. G Pervasive imperfections of varying degrees including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingertip touch. G+ and G- are used to indicate stronger and weaker copies within this range.
All records are visually graded using a bright lamp but we will play-grade for you upon request. Sometimes a scratch or scuff may look bad but especially on older thicker vinyl, it doesn't sound as bad as it looks, so those situations will be tested on the turntable and play-graded.
