The LP we are offering here is almost impossible to find under any circumstances, however the copy we are offering here is especially rare because it comes with its original McElroy Brothers poster as well. When unfolded, the poster measures 24 inches wide by 17 inches tall.

Only 1,000 copies of this album were pressed in 1977. This is only LP by the McElroy Brothers, recorded at Pajas Studios in Westport, New York. This group was twin brothers from Vermont who had a folk-rocky sound with good vocals. They created a full sound for two people with keyboards and drums, and also the addition of some occasional synth. Some listeners have classified their sound as power pop.

This LP was reviewed by Patrick Lundborg on page 212 of “Acid Archives The Second Edition”. Patrick says he loves the album, and among his comments are, “These guys are wannabe McCartneys who discovered all the wonders of synthesizers” and “They aren’t half bad and can sing and play and the songs show a good knowledge of ’65 Beatles chord progressions and harmonies”.

POSTER: The poster is in EX condition with vivid color. It has no tack holes and no tears.

COVER: The cover is in overall VG+ condition. There is no seam splitting but there are some areas on the top seam where the paper is chipping away from the jacket. The corners are lightly rubbed and the front has some surface wear. The back has a small amount of light surface wear. The cover has no writing on either side.

VINYL: This record is exceptionally clean and looks like it has had only a small number of plays. There is one visible surface scratch on the first and second songs, but nowhere near being able to be felt on the grooves. There are a couple of very light cosmetic marks on the first song on side two, probably from the original inner sleeve. Overall this LP is in EX condition.
