Description
Storming little EP of first rate piano playing (and a bit of whistling) from boogie woogie legend Meade Lux Lewis.
Rarely seen, this Vogue tri-centre EP was released in the mid 1950s, and captures the former taxicab driver at his best.
Better still, the sleeve is in excellent condition (along with sleeve notes by Alexis Korner) with no significant wear at all, and the vinyl isn't far behind – one notable hairline that isn't feelable and doesn't impact the audio. The odd pop and bit of static but overall a clean and enjoyable listen.
Labels are unmarked and excellent.
Definitely a collectable!
