  THIS LISTING IS FOR THE EXTREMELY RARE ALBUM RUNNING IN THE SUMMER NIGHT BY SWEDISH PSYCHEDELIC PROG ROCK GROUP MECKI MARK MEN. ALBUM IS ON LIMELIGHT RECORDS ~ 86068.

VINYL IS IN NM CONDITION. COVER IS IN VG CONDITION. COVER IS ACTUALLY IN REMARKABLE SHAPE FOR HOW OLD THE ALBUM IS. THE ONLY REASON I DON'T CONSIDER THIS VG+ TO NM IS THE SMALL PINHOLE IN THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER. OVERALL THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST CONDITION I'VE SEEN AN ALBUM FROM MECKI MARK MEN.

Mindbending heavy acid space rock from Sweden 1969! Mecki Mark Men was (together with Hansson and Karlsson) Jimi Hendrix' favourite Swedish band. When Jimi came back from his Swedish tours he probably told tales about the wild Swedish organ tormentor Mecki Bodemark who did the same things with his grinding Organ as Jimi did with his guitar. They sound like a mix of Teargas, High Tide and Jimi Hendrix but with a wild organ player in glittering space costume. The mighty guitar wizard Kenny Hakansson has never been more psychedelic than this!!! "While I was searching for the master tape to Mecki Mark Mens 2nd album titled "Running in the Summer Night" I discovered the original master which was originally meant to be released as the Swedish version of the album. Mecki Mark Men was contracted by Philips in Sweden but it was Limelight records in the USA who released the album in 1969.


( S ) SEALED = VINYL assumed mint, never open.
( M ) MINT = VINYL absolutely perfect in every way, never played.
( NM ) NEAR MINT = VINYL nearly perfect, no obvious signs of wear. COVER should have no creases, folds, seam splits, cut-out holes.
( VG+ ) VERY GOOD PLUS = VINYL may have scuff marks , very light scratches and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly, with only barely detectable crackles or pops; a slight noise at the beginning is  allowable. COVER may only have the slightest signs of normal wear.
( VG ) VERY GOOD = VINYL has light scratches, may crackle, pop or make other annoying noises, but only occasionally, and no more loudly than the music. COVER has normal wear such a ring wear and split seams , creases , wear at corners , edges & spine.
( G ) GOOD  = VINYL has scratches, may have continuous crackles, pops, significant surface noise. COVER has more than normal wear and tear.
( P ) POOR = VINYL is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating. COVER barely keeps the lp inside.
