Original UK Dandelion label stereo 1st press LP.
The debut LP by Medicine Head released in July 1970 and recorded in two hours by John Fiddler & Peter Hope-Evans for John Peel's Dandelion label. The demo recording of "His Guiding Hand" was released as a single, John Peel describing it as "the cheapest single ever made and one of the classic records of all time". With the red Dandelion label, glossy sleeve and the earliest A-1 B-1 matrices and A-14 A-12 stampers of the first presses.
  The glossy sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some very light corner/edge wear & a little storage rubbing/creasing on the cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain company inner is intact & in EX condition.   The record is in visually EX condition, with no scratches or nasty marks & only a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines and one or two small needle scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with no evidence of spindle markings.   The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, with just some brief, low background noise during the run in grooves and in a couple of the quieter passages, overall a really great, loud & lively listen.   The matrix nos. are; S-63757, A-1 mother stamper A-14, B-1 mother stamper A-12, This is one of early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1970 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!


  All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems!   All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide.
  All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!!
