Description
The Meditations: "No Peace" 7”, LEE PERRY 2047, Upsetters Records, Jamaica, 1978.
The record is in EX- condition.
(The record shows a few very light scratches and scuff marks. It plays with slight surface noise. This noise is largely due to manufacture, the record’s been played but handled gently. There are no pen marks, stickers or stamps on the labels.)
The record comes in a generic plain white sleeve.
This is the ORIGINAL JA release of this classic title. You can tell it’s the original by the misprint on the label of side A where the artist name is first spelled as “The Medetations” and later corrected as “The Meditations”. The labels also have that nice “worn” textured feel you get with original JA releases of the time.
This is a monstrous Lee Perry vocal production and the version side is without a doubt one of the most remarkable dubs ever!!
