Meet Beatles in shrink w/early labels plus bonus photo

Here's a beautiful, early East Coast mono copy of Meet The Beatles with the cover in the shrink wrap. It also has a cool vintage price sticker on the shrink.

The disc has the earliest east Coast label with the publishing credits. Identified as CAP 2047.MR2A in Bruce Spizer's book. The Capitol rainbow labels are NM. The vinyl is EX+ showing only the lightest sleeve abrasions directly under a high watt bulb.

The shrink (original with "breathe" holes) on the cover is 99% intact. There is a small piece missing on the back in the lower R.H. corner near the RIAA symbol. The cover is EX+ to NM-. There is some browning where the piece of shrink is missing and a few age spots on the back near the opening edge. All four corners of the jacket are crisp and square. There is no Geoge Martin credit on the rear and the numeral "3" is next to the RIAA symbol. The word "Beatles" is printed in brown on the front. Bruce Spizer identifies this cover as CAP 2047.MC1A.

An original NM inner sleeve is included (no splits) as well as an unusual "publicity" item. I'm not sure of the origins of this item other than it came with the LP. It's printed on a heavy newsprint type stock and measures 10" X 8 3/4".

It's easy to find lesser copies of this title. Ones with the earliest labels in top condition are not easy to find. Please see the photos below.
