Mono pressing from 1964
“Free Promotional Album Not To Be Sold” stamped on rear in blue ink. RIAA 6.
Matrix reads:
A side: T-1-2047-G-8
B side: T-2-2047-F7
Additionally a “1” is machine stamped in the dead wax on both sides.
The vinyl grades conservatively as a strong VG+. There are some very light hairline marks only visible under a bright light. Playback quality is excellent with very light background noise only audible in the grooves between songs. No pops or ticks. VPI cleaned
The cover grades VG+. All three seams are solid. No ring wear. There is light corner wear, some light age marks along the edges of the front and rear cover, three light scratches on the cover image, and some light wear to the opening.
Original inner sleeve included in vg+ condition with some folds and a one inch split to the bottom.
I am not an expert on Beatles pressings, but this mono issue with the blue promotional stamp seems rare. It came from the estate of a radio DJ in San Francisco, California.
