This auction is for The Beatles vinyl record album pictured here. "Meet the Beatles" from 1964 on Capitol records T 2047 mono. This is a very early copy with no BMI or ASCAP credits! This album sold over 4,000,000 copies the first year, only about 20,000 had this early label variant! (that's like one half of 1%!). This is a vintage 57 year old album. It has had use, but not abuse. The vinyl is good but has a skip on side 2, track 4 "Hold Me Tight" (see close photo). It has other scuffs and scratches, but nothing deep. I played it and it sounded very good with light static and a few ticks, aside from the skip. The labels are nice and clean, no writing nor stickers). The cover has wear, stains and a small tear. No splits on top or bottom, just a start of one on the center of the spine. Please view all actual photos. Great songs by John Lennon Paul McCartney George Harrison and Ringo Starr include: "I Want to Hold Your Hand, I Saw Her Standing There, All My Loving, It Won't Be Long, I Wanna Be Your Man" and more!
