Description

The Beatles "Meet The Beatles" 1964 very 1st pressing STEREO east coast complete copy, without the performance rights (BMI / ASCAP).  Capitol rush released these before they had the rights information such that only the running time is listed after each song; it is thought Capitol only pressed about 2000 of these on/about January 20, 1964. The cover is in VG condition (please see all photos), with a very presentable front photo/cover, correct with the brown letters (and no George Martin credit on the back), it "feels" like a past owner put glue on some/part of the edges (the sleeved record does house nicely in the cover); the vinyl has a lot of scratches and scuffs on both sides, and grades VG to VG- (nothing major and the record plays fine), matrices are Side 1...ST-1-2047-B2, and Side 2...ST-2-2047-B2. The labels have no significant distractions and present very nicely, as well; of interest is the rare version of the 1st pressing royal blue inner sleeve, not having an identification number at the bottom left corner, and a larger thumb-tab top center CAP IS 1A(ii).  U.S.buyers to pay $4.00 for media shipping (priority available upon request).  International buyers, please inquire for costs (this will weigh about 2 pounds packaged).  Insurance at the discretion of the buyer.
