Description

GENUINE 1st Issue from EARLY FEB 1964. No subsidiary text --- MATRIX 1A/1A - very early generation copy. You can find copies without publishing - these are, now, very hard to track down. And expensive! But the next copy to come along are the 1 X BMI credit copies.....A copy like this would have been on shop shelves literally as the Beatles were crashing the charts for the first time Jan 64. Comes housed in an original No.3 cover. Genuine paste-over from early '64 WITHOUT the George Martin credit.

Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) A beautiful looking copy and has only seen light use. A couple of tiny marks - nothing nasty or that problematic. Intros ad inbetweens are nice and quiet and pays a steady EXCELLENT with just a couple of minor deviations. REALLY nice clean delivery.... it is such a relief to hear that - JUST THE AUDIO...not any extraneous noise creeping into the sign path. Very impressive and in Stereo! Plays an absolute treat. All I could detect was a couple of ticks in a couple of isolated spots...e.g. toward end of track 1. But hey - barely worth mentioning.. Basically it is a total beaut of a copy, And comes highly recommended.  
Cover (Ex-) An absolute stunner... Try and find a better copy!...only a sealed copy could beat it. In lovely condition and many original examples will not be looking this spritely after this passage of time. In fact are NO WHERE NEAR this nice.....Lovely clean front - impressively so. Hardly any ageing.  The cover retains excellent rigidity. The edges are superb - very unusual for an original '64 USA copy. Slight wear at one corner - other wise brilliant. Spine is 80% intact.
