For sale is this very rare out of print Meet the Feebles soundtrack album. Meet the Feebles was the second film directed by Peter Jackson, who would later go on to direct the Lord of the Rings trilogy. This low budget, "bad taste" movie envisions a chaotic world where Muppet-like characters do very raunchy and nasty things. The film has achieved a cult following over the years. Despite it's low budget at the time, apparently, this soundtrack album was released.
The album is complete with the cardboard sleeve, the double-sided picture record album with plastic protective sleeve still present, and an unused folded movie poster that came with this release. I am not an expect but the record appears to be in really nice shape with no noticeable scratches or wear, likely because it was still protected in the plastic sleeve it came in. Imperfections should be obvious since both sides are picture discs and I'm not seeing any flaws. The poster itself appears to have never been used, and I do not want to risk unfolding it for fear of creating a tear at one of its seams. The cardboard cover has typical wear for its age. On the front cover in the top right corner, there appears to be some scratching where a price tag may have been at one point. No significant tears or creases, just normal edge wear due to storage. I know record collectors can be very particular about items. I purchased this less as a record album and more as a curiosity and an official piece of merchandise for a very oddball cult film. While this album is very rare and the contents appear to be in really nice shape, I am not an expert on this sort of thing, but I will do my best to attempt to answer your questions. I am hoping this goes to someone who's just a big fan of the film and would love to display this in their collection.
