Description
Selling unusual Beatles album from Asia. This is Meet the Beatles that was put out during the Vietnam war and sold in Asia . Most likely it was made in Taiwan, but that is not guaranteed. The cover is thinner cardboard then american albums and is in excellent condition. It has the original light plastic cover that covers the cardboard and also the inside of the cardboard. The plastic around the cover is of low quality and has a 2 inch tare to the right center of the album plus a couple of smaller beginning tares at the bottom. But the tares are in the plastic only and not on the cardboard cover. The cover does have a small (3/4th the size of a dime) very light brown stain next to the 'A' in Beatles. The record itself is in excellent to near mint condition with no scratches or scuffs. The label itself is in both English and Chinese (My guess, as I can't read the foreign script). The label indicates that the record was made by Song Twu Record's. A very interesting and rare collectible from the Beatles and Vietnam era. This was probably a knock off sold to american soldiers during the war but it is still very unusual and hard to find.
