Description
Meet the Beatles, Stereo, 1st Pressing, No Producer Credits on the Labels. When the first Capital Records album was rushed to printing, just before the Beatles came to America in early 1964, the first edition of the album came to press without producer song credits on the labels. This was soon corrected, but what we have here is one of those early copies. This is a Stereo copy of which there were much fewer produced than the more common Mono variety. The condition of the cover is VG+ with some cracking of the spine but no major splits or damage. It looks very nice. The condition of the vinyl, conservatively, is at least VG+ with very few spindle marks and a some hairlines where it was removed from the inner sleeve. This is one of the nicest copies I've seen. It comes with an appropriate blue inner sleeve in VG condition. All in all, a very, very nice example of a very rare first edition of one of the most famous albums in history, Meet the Beatles in hard to find Stereo.
