aggy. THIS "MEET THE BEATLES" WITH ORIGINAL BAGGY TYPE SHRINK WRAP! STEREO ST - 2047
I cleaned a few stains off the outside of the baggy revealing this has 4 small hole tears are superficial and do not impact the album cover in being ripped, punctured or discolored.
I have added a recent photo of damage on the lower part of the spine, that was not there a week ago, honest. The shrink/baggy is old and fragile as I've moved it around a bit. The damage is the wear after the shrink pulled apart and the paper underneath too. This is what I've added on my revision. This spine problem probably represents less tha 5% of the total paper coverage.
Of course I've downgraded this cover to a VG+ and though the corners are not "like new" they show average wear and are not dinged. Remarkably the b/w color on the cover itself is like new and I challenge anyone to show me an original like this to match it's clarity.
Unlike many types of shrink wrap that attract dirt particles, (because of static electricity) that form between the cover and the shrink wrap this one doesn't show evidence of this happening. So over the year's this record/cover have remained protected and ready to play/display at the drop of your needle.
PLAY GRADED - EX, VISUALLY has one fine light needle scuff and a couple of light paper scuffs (dnap) otherwise glossy, very nice VG++
This and That: George Martin's name DOES NOT appear on the back of the cover at the bottom of the write up. This was later changed to include his name as "Producer" on the reverse left side of album cover.
There are 3 BMI noted songs while the rest are marked ASCAP. Original inner sleeve is clear taped at the bottom to assure the record won't break through and be damaged.
