I use the Goldmine Standard as found at Discogs (http://www.discogs.com/help/mp-grading.html) when grading records.
Don’t let a less than NM grading scare you away and don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’d like to know specifically what kept
a record for getting a NM grading... it’s often pretty minor stuff. I do not use MINT as a grade, so NM is as good as it gets.
condition:
Vinyl is VG+, Jacket is VG+ notes: Here's a situation that makes me wish Goldmine had a VG++ grading. Jacket and vinyl show some signs of being handled, but nothing major and the record plays great.

I take great care to make sure everything is packaged so that it gets to you in the same condition as described in the auction listing. It's extremely rare, but every once in a while something unavoidable happens in transit that prevents that from happening. I generally do not except returns, but I also want to make sure that bad situations are righted, so get in touch if an item arrives damaged or you otherwise feel something's wrong with your purchase.
