HISTORICAL BACKGROUND OF THIS EXCEPTIONAL RARITY.

This is without a doubt one of the greatest northern soul renditions to ever be put on vinyl.  Not a repro or counterfeit of any kind.  In fact, I am selling this 45 for my good friends in San Antonio, Texas.  One of my buddies is married to Joe Jama's sister, and this is her 45.  You will notice the initials SP on one of the labels.  Those are from Joe's sister Sandy.  Jama is Joe's stage name with his real name being Joe Perales.  What an incredible rarity, and what an incredible song!

I have been given on consignment a lot of other rare records by Joe Jama, The Royal Jesters,  and other various artists from those regional labels in Texas, and they are presently up for sale on my ebay.  Many are extremely rare, so check them out too along with some incredible near mint Beatles rarities!!!!!

 THE RECORD:

This 45 is overall in very good condition.  Still very playable without any skips or sticking.  I doubt you would want to play it too much because if its extreme rarity.  Vinyl is lower end VG  on both sides with some gloss. Numerous light hairlines from sleeve action and play and a couple of fingernail scuffs.  

The labels have the initials as seen in the scan.  They also show play wear as you can well imagine.   I know Sandy loved this song, and she proudly played this for all of her friends when they came over.  I would rate the labels VG.

Those of you who recognize the grand rarity of the 45 will want to bid on this one.  It doesn't come along very often at all.  Just a handful of these have surfaced in recent years.  And imagine this - it comes directly from the artist's own home!  Quite a provenance for this peice I would say!
