Description
Here is a VERY COOL and VERY RARE record from the band Megadeth fronted by former Metallica lead guitarist Dave Mustaine. This album is a treasured piece of Thrash Metal and is highly regarded as one of the best Thrash Metal records ever released.
Megadeth, is a member of the Big Seven featuring Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax, Testament, Exodus and Overkill.
This is Megadeth's 4th release, a rare 1990 US pressing of "Rust in Peace" on Capitol Records. I love album artwork and this record is no exception. This piece of art deserves a frame on some fans wall.
The front cover is signed by Dave Mustaine, Dave Ellefson, Marty Friedman and Jimmy Degrasso (I had this record signed during the Cryptic Writing Tour in '96 - '98) They had stopped by a local Best Buy location for a signing.
I had the band sign a few records for me that day and this is the last one I have
**CONDITION**
In the upper right hand corners above Dave Mustaine's signature There is a pretty good crease in the cover. There are a few small creases along the left side towards the spine and a crease on the bottom right corner where Jimmy Degrasso's signature is. If you look real close the entire cover does show signs of wear. I purchased this used in the early 90s and this was the condition I received it in, minus the autographs. The corners are a little dinged and there. If you intend to frame this cover, some of those may not be too noticeable.
The record comes in it's original sleeve with lyrics. The sleeve does have some tape applied to one side to prevent side splits. The is a crease in one of the corners.
The actual record itself looks great! I am not seeing any scratches.
This record is being sold AS/IS. The buyer must accept that I have done my best to disclose any and all defects I could see.
I have been a Heavy Metal collector for nearly 30 years and Its time for me to part with my collection and pass these items off to someone new to enjoy.
