Unless plainly stated in the listing, all the items I list are used and have been owned and used by me, my family or friends, nothing is new unless the listing says "new", so please do not expect the item to be in new unused condition. I very much want you to have a great buying experience so I use excellent pictures together with honest descriptions so that buyers know exactly what they are getting. That is why I have 100% positive feedback.
There are normally only two reasons for which I am prepared to consider accepting a return, and then you must return the item to me at your cost within 14 days and in the condition in which it was sent out.
These reasons are:
1. Where I have accidentaly sent you the wrong item. (This has happeened only once in ten years).
2. Where I have inadvertently and grossly mis-described the item. (For example some of the pictures listed are not of the item that you have received; or I have failed to notice and describe a serious fault with the item such as the missing page of a book - clearly it is perfectly reasonably of you to assume that all the pages of a book are present unless the listing states otherwise; if I described it as "silk" then silk is what you should get). This has never happened.
I will not accept returns based on complaints about faults which were observable in the pictures listed. In line with eBay's guidance for buyers, I expect you to ask me questions about the item that are of particular importance to you BEFORE bidding/buying and will not entertain a return where I could easily have answered your questions had they been asked before bidding/buying (For example: How much does it weigh? What are its dimensions? Is there a picture of my Auntie Gwen on page 55? Are there any traces of nut on that nut-cracker? Can you make sure that it reaches me before a certain date? Is there any mohair included in the fabric?
Remember, if there is anything that you are unsure about then you should follow ebay's guidance for buyers and ask me a question.
