Description
The great band of Puerto Rico's excellent multi-percussionist Francisco Bastar better known as Kako teamed up with the superb Panamanian sonero Meñique to record this hard to find LP jammed with swingin' Latin soul-, jala jala, bugalu and a variety of other rhythms like guaguanco, bomba, bolero, guajira, a descarga and more. Accompanists include Victor Paz, Negro Pantoja, Ray Maldonado, Kent Gómez etc. Background vocals Cheo Feliciano, Chivirico Azuquita, Framkie Figueroa and Manny Roman. Produced by the legendary Al Santiago for guaranteed sabor para bailar y gozar. Jon Fausty was the sound engineer.

LP jacket has no seam separation, top edge has some wear and slight tearing, side edge is in very good condition, bottom edge shows some wear with a 2-inch tear in the center. Front cover shows some rub wear on top and bottom.Back cover has some very slight ring wear at top and bottom with 2 x marks by tracks 2 and 3 of side one....see photo
Side one of record shows a bit of spindle wear, side 2 has no spindle wear. Both sides of vinyl have some superficial needle markings that are not detectable by touch except for the last half of track 4, side one, which has a slight needle mark detectable by touch that might produce a click when playing. G+ to VG-
