Description
Original BBC transcription LP
STEREO POP SPECIAL - 110 (i & ii)
POP SPECTACULAR MELANIE IN CONCERT Stereo
CN 02454/S
Issued Wk 1/76 (1976)
As far as I have been able to research, this has only come up on eBay for sale once before. BBC Transcription Services discs were only made available to oversea radio stations for broadcast purposes and were not made available for sale to the general public. 100 copies or less were made of each disc.
Side 1 has been severely mis-handled/mis-treated. VG/VG-. Alot of scratches and scuffs. Alot. Plays through OK with considerable surface noise and pops and clicks but no skips. Side 2 is in quite a bit better shape , more like a VG+, just a few scratches/hairlines, still retains alot of gloss. Sound files are of this actual copy so you can listen and play-grade yourself. First sound sample is side 1, second sample is side 2. Some writing on labels (see scans) Generic BBC Transcription Service sleeve.

Please don't buy this item unless you are able to pay within 48 hours, thanks.
We will combine multiple orders for shipment. We double-box all vinyl, LP is placed in a regular LP mailer, which is then placed in a 14" corrugated box with plenty of padding. We have never had a record damaged in shipment yet.
