TITLE/ARTIST: Welcome to rogersrecords---your Ebay site for great condition/collectible records from the 1950's-60's, and much more. I will be listing other rare LP's/45's/PS's by Elvis, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and many others for months to come, so please bookmark this site and check in from time to time. This extremely rare four (4) song EP (45 and PS) combination by the '50's DooWop group, The Mello Kings is on the Herald Label, and is entitled "The Fabulous Mello Kings", from 1957----and includes their huge smash it, "Tonite Tonite". Any of this group's records are extremely difficult to find anymore, but this was their ONLY EP release!! In my opinion, both the vinyl and picture sleeve are in super nice condition, espiecally for how big a collectible it really is. But, please view the pics below, read about the record and jacket's condition, and judge everything for yourself. LABEL INFO: As mentioned above it is on the Herald Label (with the yellow flag at the label's top), HEP 451, shows no signs of any wear whatsoever (not even any signs of spindle wear), and in my opinion, is in great shape. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is extremely shiny, clean and nice, and appears very, very close to perfect. In fact, I see NO flaws with the vinyl worthy of mentioning at all---to me, it looks almost "like new"!! PICTURE SLEEVE INFO: The cardboard EP jacket is also in decent overall shape. However, some expected wear and tear from the years gone by are evident---slight discoloring in places, some small wrinkles/creases in places, and some light wear along the seam areas. In fact, there are two, 3" scotch taping seam repairs---one along the top seam and one along the bottom seam. However, overall it does appear to me to be in decent shape---espiecally when considering what it is and just how old it is! But, again, please view all the pictures below and judge for yourself. INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see these original and early DooWop EP's out there much anymore, espiecally in this kind of condition---and I have other of his Decca Label EP's listed in this auction as well, so please have at them. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to do so---45's/PS's/EP's and LP's by many other artists from the '50's-'60's, even some rare C&W and Soundtrack stuff, too. I am slowly selling off my very treasured personal collection, and there are many LPs, EPs and 45's to get to yet. Many of these still to be listed LPs and EPs are quite rare and hard to find, and most all of them are near mint. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---and it is also cheaper to sent multiple pieces overseas.
