Description
Offered is a box set of four LPs, pressed in Germany by DGG. Claudio Abbado leads the LSO in performances of Mendelssohn's 5 symphonies plus the overtures to Midsummer Night's Dream, The Beautiful Melusine, and The Hebrides. DGG catalog 415-353-1; recorded digitally in 1985.
We spot-play vinyl on a high-end Technics turntable fitted with an Ortofon Red cartridge tracking at 1.75 grams.
Disk condition: Excellent / near mint.
Box and booklet condition: Excellent. The only noted wear to the box is on the corners, which are scuffed but not split.
