Decca SXL 2060 WBg ED1 Original 1960 issue
Excellent Condition
Original 1960s Decca issue on the first-edition wide-band grooved label. The recording is clean and clear with excellent dynamics, presence and clarity. It features beautifully played string music and a strong contribution from a wind bass instrument. The vocal contributions are excellent.
The disc is in excellent condition, clean and without marks or scratches. It has been play tested on both sides on an Linn LP12/Ittok. It plays beautifully. There is some very occasional only slight surface noise and some very occasional light 'clicks', consistent with a 50 year-old record. This should not affect one's enjoyment of the recording.
The sleeve is the original flip-back. It is in a slightly worn but clean, good condition. Laminate is intact with some creases and marks. There is a small tear on the spine that has been repaired with tape. A tear on the back of the cover has been repaired with tape. Please see pictures below.
