Mendelssohn Symphony 3 Maag Orig UK Decca SXLA 2246 WBG
The London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Peter Maag performs the “Symphony No. 3” and “Fingal’s Cave” by Mendelssohn. An English stereo pressing on the Decca Label (SXLA 2245 stampers 3D/3E) the labels are black and silver with “Original Recording by…” at 10 o’clock, Full Frequency Stereophonic Sound fatband and logo, and a groove. The record is of excellent appearance plays and sounds superb with occasional surface noise. The cover has a slight ring and foldovers on the back and is in excellent condition.
