Mendelssohn Violin Concerto Kogan Aust Columbia 33OCX 1744
Leonid Kogan with the Paris Conservatoire Orchestra conducted by Constantin Silvestri performs the Mendelssohn “Violin Concerto” and Mozart “Violin Concerto No. 3”. An Australian mono pressing on the Columbia Label (33 OCX 1744), the labels are blue with gold lettering and tiny magic note logo. The record has a couple of small marks that click for a few revolutions, and some marking (pressing fault) at the end of side one that does not sound, otherwise it is fo excellent appearance and plays and sounds svery well with some low-level surface noice. The cover has rubbed with a ring and has some stains and foxing on the back.
