Description
This is a beautiful classic Decca recording of Mendelssohn's "Scotch" symphony by Peter Maag and the London Symphony Orchestra. This is a wonderful chance to purchase a very fine copy of this rare record.
This is the first ed with "Original recording by" at 10 o'clock, offered in its original sleeve
The cover is graded VG+ with some creasing on the laminated cover (very hard to avoid in these thin old covers). The original purchase sticker is still present on the top right of the back cover
The vinyl itself is graded NM- (basically the highest grade I give, and even then only very rarely. I grade NM only if a record was sealed and I was the one to open it)- a couple of very lights scuffs that do not affect play and some barely perceptible spindle wear are the only flaws in this great looking record. The gloss is quite strong and makes the record look practically new
