This is the Hi-Fi-Stereo first pressing, with plum labels,with a U.K. record and sleeve

The record is in excellent condition.   In bright light only the faintest of hairline marks are visible on the vinyl on Side 1.  On Side 2 there are alao only faint hairlines.  However, there are the beginnings of the marks that you sometimes get on vinyl from contact with plastic inner sleeves.  (it is now in apaper sleeve.)   Because of this I have played this side and can report that these very light marks from the plastic have absolutely no effect on the playback of the record.  It is all clear, with no hiss or crackle.

The sleeve is also excellent, with only the very slightest of lines where the laminate has lifted slightly.  Barely noticeable at all.  The unlaminated back cover is bright and clear, with only the slightest of marks.

All in all an excellent example of this great recording.

 

 

I have a collection of 250+ classical LPs that I will be putting up on ebay over the next weeks.  There are many rare items. Many SXL - ASD - SAX -  RCA Living Stereo and other recordings, mostly original pressings. There are many sought after artists and conductors;   Ida Haendel - Ruggiero Ricci - Campoli – Milstein- Furtwangler - Argenta - Kogan and others.

There is no way I can listen to all of these LPs.   I will describe the records as exactly as I can and, in the case where I can see anything I would consider to be an issue with the vinyl, ie something that is very noticeable, I will play at least the affected part of that item and report the results.  In describing them I will grade them as carefully, visually, as I can.  If there are any issues I have missed they will be very small, as I will be looking at them carefully in bright light, with a critical eye.   I do not guarantee they will be completely free of the occasional pop or click.  However, I would expect that a good clean would improve the playback if there are any.  Please bear in mind that these early Stereo pressings are 50 to 55 years old and will have accumulated some dust and dirt, however carefully they were kept.   Also please bear the above in mind when bidding,    Basically, I will try to describe them as carefully as if you were looking at them in a shop.

These records will be posted signed for.  For those with a value above the signed for minimum, £50 I believe, postage will include the fully insured value of the record.
