These are records that have been in my personal collection for decades.

I use this grading system:

Mint (M) – Absolutely perfect in every way. Never been played and usually sealed.

Near Mint (NM) – The record has been on a shelf between other records. The vinyl looks glossy and clearly has only been played a few times.

Excellent (EX) –A few light imperfections on vinyl that do not effect play at all. Cover will have minimal wear like slight corner imperfections, but most are not very noticeable.

Very Good Plus (VG+) – A few further faults are like scuffs, surface marks, or light scratches, but nothing that really compromises the record audibly. Cover will have more corner wear, slight corner dings, and creasing on the surface that does not have white peeking through. Slight sticker residue or even a small price tag.

Very Good (VG) – as are light scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail. When played record has surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and ending. But the noise will not overpower the music otherwise. Cover may have wear in the middle or along the edges of the cover where the edge of a record would reside, is obvious, though not overwhelming. Some more creases might be visible. Seam splitting will be more obvious; it may appear on all three side
Good (Good) - A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be played through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear, or other defects will be present. While the record will be playable without skipping, noticeable surface noise and "ticks" will almost certainly accompany the playback.

Poor (Poor) - The record is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeve is water damaged, split on all three seams and heavily marred by wear and writing. The LP cover barely keeps the LP inside it. Inner sleeves are fully split, crinkled, and written upon.

Note: I Do Not ALWAYS Grade inner sleeves, If these are Important to you then you may e-mail me)
