Mercury Living Presence Hi-Fi A La Espanola SR 90144, FR1/FR1 stampers. Eastman-Rochester "Pops" Orchestra, Frederick Fennell. As anyone familiar with this landmark performance knows, this recording will put any audio system to the test. The sound is riveting, big and bold -- the hair stood up on the back of my neck when I listened to it (once, carefully). The vinyl is very clean, with just a light suggestion of paper marks under strong light. Some faint background pops and clicks are evident in the quieter intervals and at higher volumes, otherwise it sounds extraordinary. Cover is bright and glossy, minor edge wear only, one corner slightly bumped (see photo). Original price sticker on reverse. Payment via PayPal or money order.
